Salifert All In One

Salifert All In One Contains almost everything needed for the growth of corals All in One makes the use of the so-called A and B calcium and alkalinity supplements unnecessary. It contains virtually everything needed for coral growth and the beautiful crusty pink and red coralline algae. All in One increases the alkalinity (carbonate hardness), calcium, strontium, trace elements (except iodine) and amino acid concentrations. We explain its necessity below: Calcium, strontium, carbonate (alkalinity) and amino acids are the main components of calcareous algae, skeletal material of hard corals and skeletal needles of soft / leather corals. The growth and multiplication of these organisms means depletion of these substances. The trace elements in Salifert All in One stimulate organisms to carry out many biological processes. Manganese, for example, is essential for many biochemical reactions, enabling photosynthesis. Iron is essential for many organisms to absorb nutrients. Cobalt is essential for the formation of various coral pigments. Zinc, like manganese, is essential for photosynthesis and is also used in the formation of calcium carbonate by corals. These are just some of the trace elements present in All in One. This supplement is highly concentrated and contains approx. 55,000 ppm calcium, matching amounts of biologically active bicarbonate and approx. 1000 ppm strontium. The calcium is acetate based and is converted to calcium bicarbonate within minutes. This is in contrast to gluconate-based products.
